Schedules: once the schedule has been posted online with Nations Baseball – the schedule will automatically go to your team links upcoming games.
Berth Certificates: Once you have validated the berth certificate for that player, there won’t be a player age protest and you will no longer have to enter that player in the system the following year as this player will be in the system until he or she doesn’t play anymore and you won’t have to keep the certificates on hand at all times. Plus this will keep teams from trying to circumvent rosters by adding players on multiple frozen rosters as the system will pick this up and not allow teams to do this. Team Insurance: Nations Baseball has come right out the gate to protect your team making it mandatory to have team insurance to be able to participate in a Nations Baseball event. This is only for your protection and ours.
Many teams in the past haven’t been made mandatory to have team insurance and possibly could have left you and the player’s family been open to a lawsuit if the other child didn’t have team insurance to cover their expenses. If the director from another association isn’t asking to see your policy, or requiring your team to add on as an additional insured you may want to question this to that director. It’s possible they may be purchasing a tournament policy to cover those ones that don’t have team insurance and charging you for additional insurance that you don’t need instead of making those teams be required to have team insurance.
Sanction Fee:
See Sanction Fee above:
Team Sanction Fee: will cost you $45.00 to sanction with Nations Baseball, you must send proof that you have team insurance an added Nations Baseball as an additional insured to your policy and your policy expires July 31st of the season and then scan this in or fax it and send it to Nations Baseball. Keep in mind it may take a day or so to get your policy checked and approved if you check this option. Until this is approved your team is not eligible to enter any events until this is approved. Make sure that your policy has liability & Medical coverage.
